Our Background

Before I took the decision to form the Lindsay King Group, I embarked on an extensive research programme to see if there was a real need for another consultancy.

I sought the views of more than 300 captains of industry and senior practitioners in the human resources field, to establish the type of service they were currently receiving and how this might be improved. The research confirmed my view that there was indeed the need of a more personal, but highly professional specialist consultancy.

Our philosophy is very simple: to be a valued partner to both client and candidate. Our approach is professional, friendly, swift and thorough. We aim to achieve 100 per cent success first time.

How do we achieve this?

It is my responsibility to ensure that this consultancy is its own best advertisement. With this in mind, The Lindsay King Group:

  • Stays ahead of new developments in its field, making significant investments in research, development and new technology.
  • Keeps regular contact with clients to build up a real understanding of their business and future requirements.
  • Encourages candidates also to view the consultancy as their partner.
  • Guarantees that its own personnel are of the highest calibre, sharing s ethos and enthusiasm.
  • Creates a balance of fun and hard work, while always retaining professional standards.

Organisational Structure

Our structure is very simple; it comprises divisional directors, who are industry focused, and researchers who are generalists and act as key account managers.

To guard against conflict of interest, a limited amount of clients in any given industry sector is accepted. This also has the benefit of providing a wealth of sources from which candidates may be attracted.

LKG’s client base is extensive. Assignments are undertaken in most disciplines and industries. The group has affiliate offices in Africa, Asia, Western Europe, the Middle East and the USA
