Context
Marketing Director, reporting to the UK General Manager and has direct line management responsibility for five high calibre individuals.
The creation of this role is one of the “step-change” initiatives for the UK Market. The Marketing director will play a vital role in collaborating with Central Marketing and developing the critical insights that will develop “pull” from Consumers, Office Buyers and Distributor Partners.

The Role and Responsibilities
• Development of the brand strategies including key proposition gaps
• Development of systems infrastructure + E-Business competence + execution
• Creating of Market Metrics, Review & Governance structures
• Clear Strategies for Direct sales, National Accounts, Food Service and other channels
• Development of winning propositions including pricing and contract lengths etc
• Ongoing development of operational excellence including Direct sales
• Development of Indirect Strategy including five year p&l
• Development of Insights on the market
• Identification of B2B opportunities in the UK
• Development of the Marketing Plan > “Pull” including Lead Generation
• Identification of more/better Distributor Partners
• Building collaborative relationships with key distributor partners
• Deployment of Lead Generation Strategy within Customer Service, Direct & Indirect
• Automation of core inbound product ordering via internet
• Development of concepts that allow us to better sell our Service Excellence
• Development of new metrics and review processes for improving Customer Quality
