INTERNATIONAL COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS DIRECTOR
GLOBAL CONSUMER GOODS GROUP
Based in M4 Corridor

Main Purpose

Provide expert C&B leadership as part of the Global HR function. $40 bn fmcg group.

Key Accountabilities
• Provide C&B thought leadership, developing clear C&B strategy, keeping abreast of current trends in C&B that might allow increased efficiency/effectiveness and decreased costs
• Ensure flawless execution of Annual Salary Compensation process to deliver Pay structure and merit matrix for each country, leading benchmark survey analysis, working in conjunction with HR Directors to propose appropriate changes, lead compensation budgeting during Annual Planning process
• Responsible for C&B aspects of the HR deliverables, as key member of project team & responsible for supporting an effective transition between compensation structures & systems
• Manage bonus design principles & coordinate execution of annual bonus
• Building C&B capability
• Executive Job evaluation and salary recommendation – tracking & managing Corporate C&B sign-off
• Build effective employee communications through total rewards statements
• Ensure effective reporting - data collection, quality checks, consolidation submission and distribution of a number of key
• Establish and ensure implementation of all compensation and benefits related policies and procedures
• Monitor and manage all programs including Executive Performance Rewards Program & Share Program

Key Skills/Experience
• Strong C&B background, international experience
• Substantial experience in international C&B, ideally operating at Board level
• Excellent communicator
• Strong interpersonal skills, influential, analytical and team player.
• Solid experience in job analysis, job evaluation utilizing Hay, Mercer, Hewitt and Watson Wyatt or similar methodology.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Systematic with strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Able to work in unstructured environment.
• A self starter.
• Computer literacy
